«Sound artist Robert Aeberhard plays music composed of field recordings. The audience is invited to affect the artist’s sound and instruments. In a cat-and-mouse game the play of the artist is thus manipulated and limited by different effect processors such as volume control, distortion, reverb or delay. The range of the impact by the audience can be subtle or change the sound beyond recognition. Will the performer be able to pursue his artistic idea despite the external manipulation?»
